Construction sites are usually only temporary, ranging from a couple of weeks to sometimes over a year depending on the size of the project. Having construction site accommodation is a necessity for sites that do not have access to welfare facilities such as a kitchen or toilets.
Construction site accommodation gives workers easy access to important amenities such as a canteen, seating area, toilet & a drying room, with some of the larger units incorporating an office as well.
Providing your workers with access to these facilities is required by law, so it is essential to hire external welfare facilities if your site doesn’t already have access. Site Equip can offer a variety of welfare facility options in various sizes, depending on the space you have available and the number of workers on site.
Our wheeled cabins come with a hot-water sink as standard and can be additionally fitted as canteens, offices, drying room or storage. They require a 240v power outlet and come in 12ft, 16ft or 18ft sizes and are made out of a GRP material. The cabins can be easily towed around a working site, adding flexibility to your construction site accommodation.
Anti Vandal Cabin
Our anti vandal cabins are the same layout as our wheeled cabins, also available to be fitted as a canteen, office, drying room or storage, however they are made of a strong steel material, with additional locks on the door and include shutters for the windows, ensuring maximum protection against potential theft and vandalism.
Our welfare units are designed with the same steel material as our anti vandal cabins, however the welfare units come fully equipped with a canteen, including a kettle, microwave, seating area and table, a drying room and a chemical toilet, with our 16ft and 20ft units having an additional office space. These units are a great space effective option as they are all-in-one units confined within 12ft, 16ft, or 18ft.
Our 10ft and 20ft anti vandal containers are also designed with a strong steel exterior and can be fitted as a site office, canteen, storage facility or a combination of each. The units can be double stacked and provided with stairs, a great solution if your site has spacial implications.
The benefit of hiring construction site accommodation is that you have the flexibility to choose a unit that is perfect for your requirements and the ability to place it near enough anywhere on site, as long as the ground is sturdy and can support the unit.
